Buy a r1100gs that has been under a cover in the road for 4 years

Would you remove plugs, spray two stroke down the bores and turn over through the gear box. Then start bike, run till warm ...

Re: Sertraline
It seems to be the most commonly prescribed SSRI so as a result you will find pretty much every single side effect reported by somebody. On that basis I reckon there's almost no point asking, I could tell you what I've witnessed, but it's different for everybody, so maybe give it a go and see what ...

Re: Broken down
In August 1999 I went to a solar eclipse party/festival in Hungary on my VFR750 and on the way back the Reg/Rec decided to throw a hissy fit and start charging at 17v, boiling the battery dry. After realising what the problem was, and refilling the battery with distilled water, the rear brake torqu...

Is it assault if you were paid as part of a publicity stunt?Newey wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 2:45 pm https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0krp7gqq4no
The evidence is actually in the photograph or is she hanging out for more publicity or it's not assault but the charges will be reduced?

Re: New Ford Capri
The original Ka was a properly interesting and unique sort of car. Later versions are far more boring and generic. Yep that the puma and the fiesta MK3 were amazing handling cars. The fiesta 1.25 was a great engine in a really nicely handling package. The street and Sport KA were the best of the lo...

Re: New Ford Capri
I grew up around Capris, my uncles both drove 3-Litre S's, I had 4 of the bloody things myself, but that new car doesn't bother me at all, because the Capri, in hindsight, was an agricultural rustbucket that was actually inferior in every way to the Manta apart from straight line speed. I was more ...

Fairly sure I read that NHS testing for diabetes in more involved than snapshot readings. Nope, as it is pretty clear, with one blood test. This what I'd read: https://www.diabetes.org.uk/diabetes-the-basics/test-for-diabetes Testing for type 1 and type 2 diabetes If diabetes is confirmed by the re...

Re: Home medics q?
Anyone monitor their own blood glucose levels? What are you using? Any thoughts/issues? Never buy a meter, as most all manufacturers give them away as they want you or the NHS to buy the strips and lancets. Some makers have better lancets (prick things) while others have test strips that ...

I'm guessing the French are behind this act of unnecessary bureaucracy! :angry-cussingblack: Yeah blame the french. Remember you are a tory voter with your love of trickle down economics. Also you left the EU, no one forced you. Live with the consequences. I do. I'm not. I dont. We did. They didnt....

In case anyone doesn't know about ees, here's a link to the EU website. https://travel-europe.europa.eu/ees/general-information_en After a number of years delay it is intended to start in October but how it's going to work still isn't clear in some places of entry. So not all countries using the sy...
