I'm permanently banned from Reddit for getting three bans. The first was for saying a local politician needed a slap. The second was for saying that if the annoying family from that holiday ad were at the same hotel as me, I'd drown the kid in the pool, and the third was for telling some Norwegian twat that if I was as miserable as him, I'd hang myself.

My uncle's funeral was great craic, my God Squad uncle was telling everyone that the dead one was going to hell because he wasn't saved. I reminded the bible thumper that his own miraculous redemption came suspiciously soon after he was caught by the RUC with a load of nicked cast iron fireplaces in his works van, but not to worry, when little old heathen me went to hell, I'd save him a seat. It got very quiet, very quickly.

Struggling to think of an example right now, but over the years my total lack of a filter, sometimes combined with just a tad too much booze & the ability to say exactly the wrong thing at the wrong time has caused serious offense to a few people...
Often times I'm just brutally honest & some people can't handle that. (I don't mean telling a new mum that her baby looks like a potato)
Altho tbf, sometimes people take something completely out of context & find offense where there wasn't any, it's actually happened on this very forum a couple of times & left me wondering WTF they're blathering about.

I'm a longhaired geezer (and gorgeous, 'natch) and the # of times I've been misgendered ("bonjour mademoiselle", "can I help you miss?" scenarios) if you counted them up and gave me a penny for each time I'd have a cool £3.54p. Got to love the god squad...They don't like it if you have a bible off and basically they are talking utter rubbish even according to their books. Im an RC with a fully stamped card and my dad trained to be a priest in Italy...which I only found out after he was dead. Now that is a wierd experience, having a few higher up in the vatican turn up at your house. Then tell you who is giving your fathers service, and you get to choose the church and get to be before others. While telling you stories about my father.

The local priest, really didn't like that. The local priest mentioned it 10 years later, when he bumped in to me at the church when I was asking for a mass for my dad, that my mother wanted, and that he was unhappy that he didn't do the service.
