Re: Tents for motorcycle camping.
The tent of choice for many i know including myself was the Coleman Phad in either X2 or X3 ....packs fairly small but roomy enough inside to move about a bit and a tiny porch bit to store panniers, bags etc The X2 is the 2 man effort but with all bike gear its more a solo tent. Its the one i have ...

Re: Tents for motorcycle camping.
I've tried supermarket cheap and wouldn't again for anything further than my back garden. No faddy air poles or pop up tents either, probably get a basic Vango for summer time campsites. Get some hard ground pegs and take a claw hammer, possibly soft ground pegs depending where you are going. https...

Tents for motorcycle camping.
I'm a reasonably experienced camper, but not on a motorbike and fancy giving solo bike camping a try. I can re-purpose a lot of my gear but not the tent, as mine are massive family type jobs or a lightweight backpacking tent. I.e. too big or too small. So something mid sized which won't take up too ...

Re: GoPro mounting advice for a newbie videographerist
Front view I think, and helmet sounds like a good idea but i might occasionally want a view looking back towards me and the missus. So maybe a bar mount where I can flip it round? Won't you be in the way then? Always! Probably didn't explain that very well. Mostly looking forward at scenery and twi...

GoPro mounting advice for a newbie videographerist
So... I'd been thinking about getting one for ages, but my awesome offspring have chipped in and bought me a used GoPro Hero 7 black for my birthday. I know it's a couple of iterations off the new spec, but it has the image stabilisation and seems, based on my limited playing about with it to take e...

Re: I prefer riding my EMTB to riding a motorcycle
I'm drifting back into motorbikes after a few fallow years, and enjoying it but if forced to choose between them and mountain bikes it would be the latter. I took them up late in life and am severely under talented, but I absolutely love mountain biking. An hour or two on my own on local trails real...

Re: Where have you toured?
Not many, and none for a while but with a new bike in the garage and my missus egging me on, we are dead keen to get out this year if possible. Watching motorcycle touring videos on YouTube has kept me going through lockdown. I've done a solo tour to the south of France, based around the Verdon gorg...

Re: Over to have a nosey around from Singletrackworld
 there's a few of us here I think! Always fancied having a MTB ride over the Mynd but haven't got round to it yet. It's great. I'd be happy to show you around when we are allowed again. Minton Batch descent is great. I also have Mortimer Forest, Bringewood, Hopton, Eastridge etc. nearby and a...

Over to have a nosey around from Singletrackworld
Hi all I'm Dave. I found this place after Weeksy shamelessly plugged it on Singletrackworld mountain bike forum. I suspect I'm not the only one. It seems lots of us are into two wheels, with and without internal combustion engines. I'm 57 next month and live near Ludlow in Shropshire though I'm orig...
