Met with some friends I've not seen since the first shut down of resort - and met their gorgeous little (well, not so little!) baby :D :D

I am an honorary auntie to another kid that I can lead astray later in life!! LOL :angelic-green:

For now, I made him laugh (and look at me like I'm mad) by blowing raspberries in his hand!! LOL Well, he did keep putting his hand on my mouth, so what else should I do??

British Gas emailed me to tell me they’ve over charged me for 3 years - £939 including interest
Genuine, or scam looking for your bank details?

Genuine.

I’d apparently been paying for boiler cover as well as Homecare something or other. Hadn’t noticed so must have been over a number of years.

Ha! I doubt that. It was just another subscription the type of which we all lose track of. Anyway, it was good news. Going to spend the cash on coke and hookers :obscene-drinkingcheers: :D

I had the same, it wasn't that much but I did get a refund (IIRC £400) and my DD went down quite a lot because that also left some money in the pot as well.

I think it's probably a policy from BG, if they do that to a couple of million customers then that's a lot of interest or gain on all that extra money sat in their account. Their ex-boss got a £10m bonus when he left, I'd have put him on a guillotine for it when some people can't afford to heat their homes over winter.

Not as easy as it looks to tile to the middle of the loo, when you have to start at the doorway at the other end!
I tiled a similar lavvy room recently. There's no information on how massive feckers with big feet can tile floors in tiny rooms when there's nowhere to stand!

Bloody French and their tiny lavvy rooms.

I recently paid a man to tile our (not very big) bathroom. I'm glad I did, he got through over 1200 tiles*. Fuck doing that.

**No he didn't break 1100 before anyone says it :D

Today I took a friend's car back to him - we went to a bar last night and I drove his car, so it ended up at my place!! ~(after I drove him home!!!) LOL

Then we walked up a mountain to see the fete sort of thing up there. Not much to see, too peopley!! So I text the people we were meeting and we all met somewhere further down and less peopley for a coffee!

Then I went to the valley to meet a friend. Only because I was picking up another friend from the station. There was something of a gap inbetween, so I went to the Parapente landing site and sat in the shade reading my book or watching 'flyers' flying and landing. I do so want to learn to do that!!!

Now home and very tired. Knee hurts more than shoulder from the walking, so that's 'sort of' good!! LOL

Had a couple of nights away in the borders in the hairdressers special. Had some lovely weather (which wasn’t forecast). A night in Moffat and a night in Hawick. Great countryside and great roads.

Had a slightly strange conversation with a tourist. It was going well until they noticed the freshly killed chicken I was holding.

Were you drawing a pentangle with its blood at the time?

I'd literally just finished gutting it having skinned it elsewhere.

Pentangles? I'm not religious.

Taken the dogs for a walk on the beach. It was empty (for a change) as I think the fantastic summer weather has scared all the tourists away.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."
