Can't really comment! I don't have a TPS input to the CDI. There is a race CDI that does and maybe in the future I'll think about purchasing one, but not sure of any real TPS gains at the moment. It would be nice to get more info frrom you Guys!

Good idea, I'll follow it. Nice to know what if any gains there are using the TPS!

Just remembered this mod I did. When I raised the tank up so that I had clearance for the new engine this had a knockon effect of pushing the seat back due to the tank taper. I got around this by slotting the seat fixing hole, filling it with JB then drilling it out in the new position for the fixing bolt.

Used some JB in my latest project which now enables me to access the CDI port without removing the seat.

Just in case anybody doesn't know what JB Weld is, here's a Ebay link.

Here's another project using JB, not bike related but since no one else has any examples I thought it might keep the topic going for a while. The lions head had a hole at the back of the mouth for a water spout which I wasn't using so decided to make a tongue moulded using JB, some soft ally mesh
and a few ally filings.

Used some JB to fill-in some license plate light holes that I drilled incorrectly in a tail tidy. Can't see them now but there somewhere in the red circled area.
