And I'm not paying RRP, working in the trade as I do...
I can't remember the last bike I bought that I didn't customise heavily actually. In fact, most of my bikes have been custom builds from scratch, which is a bit more difficult to do with eBikes as most brands don't offer frame only.
Should probably get around £7-800 back for the XT groupset, brakes, Mavic wheels and the Maxxis tyres etc... I already own all the parts that will be going on to replace them, except the brakes...

I guess I always thought of a frame as a set of tubes joined together and the lighter they are, the more you pay. I assumed they were all much of a muchness and it was the wheels and the other kit that made all the difference.
