I look forward to seeing it in the flesh soon
It looks like £6,300 for a frame and motor to me.

Well frame only is £6k... And they're not available any time soon!

And I'm not paying RRP, working in the trade as I do...

I can't remember the last bike I bought that I didn't customise heavily actually. In fact, most of my bikes have been custom builds from scratch, which is a bit more difficult to do with eBikes as most brands don't offer frame only.

Should probably get around £7-800 back for the XT groupset, brakes, Mavic wheels and the Maxxis tyres etc... I already own all the parts that will be going on to replace them, except the brakes...

 I had no idea. Although I suppose I know some bikes are £10k+ so the frame has to be a chunk of that.

I guess I always thought of a frame as a set of tubes joined together and the lighter they are, the more you pay. I assumed they were all much of a muchness and it was the wheels and the other kit that made all the difference.

Live and learn eh? :D
