Heard someone trying to get in the garage last night so phoned the police. They said they didn't have anyone available. I waited a few minutes and phoned again. 'Don't worry about that intruder, I've just shot him'.
Next thing 4 cars, armed response unit etc etc etc.
Nice policeman said 'You said you just shot somebody'.
I said '...and you said no-one was available'.
