Those rubber seals on the float bowls may not like E10. I know a man who used to make them,but doesn't now as the ethanol swells them up. Maybe get away with E5 or the non ethanol stuff,if you can get it. No one does it here.

The way to find out is to drink it, if you're violently ill it's just petrol. If you also get pissed it's got ethanol in too.

Errrr... while \i will drink most stuff..even if I brewed it myself.....to test a quantity of unknown fuel... pour 5 litres into a glass container and add 10% of water...other quantities in proportion.
The ethanol will mix with the water, observation will tell you the amount of ethanol present.
The petrol on top of the ethanol /water mix is perfectly useable.
I would only reccomend drinking the water /ethanol at the bottom if you are really fed up with seeing stuff.

Well, she's all done and ready for sale- took the old girl out for what I planned to be a 2 mile shakedown run, it was running lovely so I kept going and ended up doing nearly 30- aside from the shockingly bad (and it's all new ) front brake, it really is a lovely old thing and a very pleasant bike to enjoy these sort of roads on

Apparently decent tradespeople are in short supply so they simply add a daily surcharge. Stick £12.50 on the daily rate for a plasterer or plumber and who notices?
So, in the case, the polluter doesn't pay.
