Well that's just a bit strange isn't it.

Yup he is off the Alpine which is the rebranded Renault team in F1 based in Enstone in the UK. Friend of mine works there.

A really interesting article - serving as a great reminder of exactly that the world of motorcycle racing is losing!

I used to be a huge fan of the technology behind these motorsports but more recently, interested in the politics of running a team. The team principals/managers are extraordinarily skilled individuals. Yes I am thinking Toto Wolff, Christian Horner etc. who appear to exude confidence alongside deep technical knowledge.
If that Suzuki chap is "one of those" and let's face it, Suzuki have come a long way under his direction, then he is an extremely valuable commodity to any team.

If the skills are transferrable between the 2 sports then Ferrari should have signed him up as their team management has been a nightmare the past few years and Brivio has the right passport for them as they only seem to appoint Italians at the momentDEADPOOL wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 6:39 pm I used to be a huge fan of the technology behind these motorsports but more recently, interested in the politics of running a team.
