Well that's just a bit strange isn't it.

Davide Brivio and team Suzuki Ecstar part ways
After eight years in the role of Team Manager, Davide Brivio and Suzuki have announced an end to their collaboration

Big change - but an interesting move ... obviously more money , coverage etc
I would have thought MotoGP is more interesting

Yup he is off the Alpine which is the rebranded Renault team in F1 based in Enstone in the UK. Friend of mine works there.

A really interesting article - serving as a great reminder of exactly that the world of motorcycle racing is losing!

I used to be a huge fan of the technology behind these motorsports but more recently, interested in the politics of running a team. The team principals/managers are extraordinarily skilled individuals. Yes I am thinking Toto Wolff, Christian Horner etc. who appear to exude confidence alongside deep technical knowledge.

If that Suzuki chap is "one of those" and let's face it, Suzuki have come a long way under his direction, then he is an extremely valuable commodity to any team.

If the skills are transferrable between the 2 sports then Ferrari should have signed him up as their team management has been a nightmare the past few years and Brivio has the right passport for them as they only seem to appoint Italians at the moment
