I just use it to grind. Nothing subtle here
Presumably pre-tapped holes in cast lugs in the base? (I bet they're Cycle thread..... )KungFooBob wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2024 6:08 am I need to post a correction, it's does have pre-drilled mounting holes. I need to go to spec savers.
For the same reason you don't put a fine edge on a wood chisel with a concrete paver.
Look what you made me doCount Steer wrote: Mon Aug 05, 2024 2:29 pm If anyone else wants a £25 bench grinder (should be £50)....I've got one and it's fine.

My nephew, apprentice electrician, loves his M12 kit, the cut off saw and heated jacket are particularly good. He barely picks his M18 kit up these days as the M12 is as capable as the higher voltage kit whilst being much lighter for all day use.dern wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2024 5:15 pm I've only played with this for 5 minutes but this is my new favourite tool...

It's a milwaukee cordless m12 portable bandsaw. Definitely didn't need it as I have a hacksaw but it cuts through steel and aluminium like butter. It cut that steel box section in a couple of seconds. Very pleased indeed and will definitely make cutting metal less painful (arthritis in fingers).
I've a few M12 milwaukee tools now and very impressed with all of them.

Watched it the other day, interesting build (although after watching three versions of the tambour door I ran out of time and went to work) with some amazing details.MrLongbeard wrote: Tue Aug 27, 2024 11:07 pm One of those came up in a video I watched yesterday.
Don't fret if you can't watch all of it, he / his style is an acquired taste

These Draper socket sets were always in disarray when my Dad was working on something... but even after what must be at least 40 years now... there's only 3 sockets missing from the 3/8" set! (the 9,12,14 mm sockets and a couple of extensions)
Yeah, i could. But I've got plenty of 3/8s stuff already.ZRX61 wrote: Tue Nov 05, 2024 7:36 pmhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/235686627496?_ ... R7qsmt3fZARockburner wrote: Tue Nov 05, 2024 10:05 am Not "purchases", per se..... but on Sunday I picked up a few things from my Dad's old workshop....
