Have you unsucked yet? If not just slide a pointy kitchen knife between it and the screen. If it's just the vacuum holding it, it should pop off. If somebody has glued it, you'll be able to prise it off. Do not run with the knife, point it at yourself or attempt to otherwise interact with the pointy end.

I did! It’s not a ‘clean’ plastic vacuum thing. It’s soft plastic and it’s proper sticky!!! But at least I can remove it now - without a knife !!! (TBF, whilst the French do allow carrying of knives, it’s not something I’ve done yet, and don’t want to carry a kitchen knife or have to go home for one each time I change véhicule!!!    )

Ok. This bastarding sucky thing now has the opposite issue. It refuses to stick to the screen :( :( :wtf: :wtf:

Any ideas how to make it sticky again?? :? :?

Buy a new one.

Most of those 'sucky things' are very dependent on the edge being near perfect to get a good seal. Hacking it off with a CC or knife, or poking a screwdriver into it soon wrecks the seal.

It's more that it used to be 'tacky', so the suction bit just forced the tacky bit to stick properly. Now it isn't tacky, so even with the suction it's not sticking (the cold probably doesn't help much I'd guess  )

Trying not to buy one till I get to buy a car of my own!! But, might have to I guess :(
