She wants to get confidence and so do I!! :D :D

Kitten crapped where she shouldn't have because I didn't clean out the litter tray fast enough  That'll teach me

She also didn't stay asleep for the lesson!!  But hey - I learnt some new words!!!

Spent 3 hours rebuilding, servicing and sorting my boys mates bike. Apparently it's never felt or sounded this good ha ha.
He still needs wheel bearings replacing but I don't have in spares.

Spend most of the day in the shed, been to the tip (and came back with almost nothing for once) and had a bonfire.

As well as my rock hard prostate, weakened bladder, multitude of aching joints, failing eye-sight, failing memory, piles and rogue hairs appearing from every part of my body, I have a corker of a cold sore at the moment. Back in my twenties I'd have been mortified by my crusty lip. In my fifties, I really don't give the proverbial airborne copulation. I have named him Colin and have been introducing him to people, such as my yoga instructor, who said he'll get the first lesson free, but if he comes next week he's gotta pay.
Tea Tree oil for cold sores, not sure if it works by killing it or burning the skin off around it so it falls off.

Cut the fugly thing loose from its moorings, dragged it downstairs and then emptied the remaining rank piss over the garden. Going to let the boards where it's been standing dry out overnight (it's been leaking for a while) before starting to fit the new replacement.

I'm not in the best of moods after all that...
Finally finished fitting the bloody thing. And had a well-deserved shower. I'm sure everyone in my immediate vicinity is quite pleased about that.
I did a similar job a couple of years ago, huge cylinder down from a bedroom back into downstairs toilet / boiler room, half way through the job (gut room, replace all pipework, lay new floorboards etc), I decided to get the boiler moved… Mid winter, draughty old house, 3 days without heating but at least we had hot water as cylinder had immersion heaters in it. The ladies of the house were none too happy about the lack of heating. :D

Booked a holiday today...unfortunately it’s not till Nov 2022 but at least it’s something to look forward to.

Hopefully the world will be back to some semblance of normality.

May have been yelled at by a maskzi at a local store for not wearing a mask. Not sure though as I was about 100ft inside the store by the time I heard "sir! SIR!! SIR!!!!!" coming from behind me over by the door.

Used construction adhesive to fix 4 loose bricks around flower beds in the front yard.

Ate 75% of a pizza with a cauliflower crust. Didn't taste any different to the regular kind.

SFA

Well, sat in the garden reading Rotherweird, watching the occasional aerial predator pass over: couple of peregrine falcons (I think), a couple of buzzards, one of which was repeatedly being attacked by a kestrel: as in we watched the kestrel trying to drive the buzzard off on more than one occasion. I can only assume we're near the boundary of the kestrels turf, the buzzards float all over the place.

We have have almost constant Red Kites over here. 7 at one time this afternoon. Occasionally they come down below roof height - they're bloomin big!

A few people around here feed them. I've seen 18 wheeling around.

Built this over the last couple of days for a local holiday home who wanted their hot tub enclosed in a summer house....... last part of the build according to the manual is the floor but because of the circumstances after the base then the floor was next which was a bit of a challenge.

How fucking heavy is a hot tub to move with just 2 people even when its empty

Image

and move the heavy bastard back on

Looks good and you'll get repeat work to remove the summer house when it turns into a mouldy mess.
