The Expanse.
At first I wasn't so sure but they seemed to put the effort in to get the gravity situation as good as it could be done.
Upto series five and as far as I'm concerned its just getting better.
Two standout characters are Amos and Avassarala.

Amos started out as a meathead enforcer and doesn't say much but still waters run deep with that one and Avasarala has been good all the way through.

Oh and its got spaceships in it, if thats not your thing I'm sure theres some Only Fools and Horses being repeated somewhere or other.

Drummer is one of my favourites too. I'm fact most of the bad asses are women.

I could watch it just for the weird mid-african/carribean/Asian accent combos.

Yup, Drummer is bloody good.
I wasn't too keen on her at first but she's really grown on me.
We've just finished series five last night and it's just got a lot better as the cast grew into their roles.
Yeah, I can pick holes in the filming but most of thats because they don't have unlimited budget so air fed router masks get turned into space helmets and travelling times are greatly reduced to keep the plot moving but its still well done in my opinion.

Just watched 'If anything happens I love you' on Netflix. Short animated film. Only about 10 minutes long but very moving.

Got very dusty in my living room whilst watching it.

New of the World. Tom Hanks made the film worth watching, but it was a very predictable story. I couldn't help thinking if it was a lesser actor in the lead role, I might have bailed on it? Great supporting acting from his young co-star Helena Zengel.

Love death and robots on Netflix.

Its an anthology series of animated Sci Fi shorts. Some funny, some thought provoking and some just OK.

Its easy to dip into and rattle a couple off while you're getting ready for work or whatever on a morning.

From memory lasy series had 18 episodes (all stand alone and not tied in any significant plot dependant way) and this year added another 8.

Killing Escobar. Very interesting and if you like things like Brave Two Zero, you'll enjoy it.

Papillon. The new one/remake. I've seen the old one but don't remember it, so I had the luxury of not making comparisons. It was quite good, enjoyable really, if a little too long.

New series of Fargo on CH4.
The usual offbeat black humour stuff.
Being on CH4 theres a LOT of adverts but so far (two episodes in anyway) its as good as the other two series.
IIRC the other 3 series are on Netflix so you can watch those without the same crappy adverts being so intrusive.

No spaceships though.
