the slab of cheese they provide is frankly ridiculous LOL.

Our proposed pub trip has been cancelled. Local pub we were going to, isn't opening just yet? The one across the road will undoubtedly be too busy because of this, although i'll check. If its not too bad then the wife and I might have a drink or 4 on Sunday. I'm jonesing for a pint of draught lager!

What's the name of the pub? I've in-laws in and near Goring and I think I recognise it.

Was intending to go to the pub Sunday afternoon, so whilst I was out I went for a look and it was heaving. There was a couple of tables but it was just too busy to be comfortable with, so we postponed it. Ho hum...

Didn't these sorts of discussions happen last year? A necessity of food shopping, with mask wearing, for an hour (our local Tesco is limiting numbers in the store) Vs proximity to others for prolonged periods, no mask wearing, for something that is hardly necessary.weeksy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 10:45 amcrammed into the garden ? Surely that's better than going to a Supermarket/shop/whatever... there'll be tables spaced at a distance and the fact it's actually outdoors.Rockburner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 10:36 am but I'm not sure I want to be crammed into gardens with the rest of the 'general public' for a while yet.
Even bland can be a type of character
