Re: Ebay 'WTF' bikes
Someone mentioned the V-Max on another thread, so I thought I'd have a look on t'bay.
I was half tempted to post it to the 'interesting bike' thread.

I've never ridden a bike with proper ape hangers... I bet they're fun on a bike with more torque than the cast of loose wimmin.
The more I look at it, the more I want to buy it, just for a laugh!

Spooky, but I was looking at that less than 10mins ago.
If you look at the footrest hangers, they're using hexhead bolts rather than Allen bolts, recessed into the hanger, they must be a complete fucker to undo.

Re: Ebay 'WTF' bikes
If I was in the market for a Firestorm, that might well be on my radar. You'd cop or a fair chunk of the purchase price back by selling all the bits that come with it!KungFooBob wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 9:05 pm Not WTF bad, just WTF.

Re: Ebay 'WTF' bikes
This not only for the utter horror of the "vehicle" itself, but the appalling advert -
From the advertisement -
Selling for a friend he doesn't use donedeal
madmax trike project
Engine back wheels and axel is citroen 2cv
Also spare engine and gearbox and 2 spare wheel rims from 2cv aswell
Bandit front end and petrol tank and i think the seat is from a bandit , also has single seat
Ducati end cans
Can someone please put this out of its misery?

I think someone got a drill for Christmas.

If you're racing an MZ where every ounce matters, but on a road bike?

I had the blue, white and pink one. Straight line bus. it wasn't the most nimble machine I've ever ridden. I remember it as the season when Jamie Whitham was throwing his race bike into the scenery at regular intervals. He had a HUGE crash at the second half of the gooseneck at Cadwell right in front of me.
