Suzuki used to run the same fronts on GSXR 750s with twin discs and (IIRC anyway) GS 500s with one disc and a blanking cone shaped part.
Think the early LCs only had a single disc? But the same wheels as my XJ550 which had two (fairly crap) front discs.

250s were single disc, 350 double discs.
One season I raced both and had to swap brain over between races. Luckily the 250 was a fair bit slower.

Dunno, but I once acquired a set of pads from a 550 and they were awesome.

Mebbe, I can't remember but I always thought I had an extra inch over the LC boys so you could be right.

If you mean the 125 wheels, I've no idea, the YPVS front wheel has two discs.
The 125 Brembo wheels are single disk, just like the TZR250.
With a decent set-up on a <150kg bike you can put yourself over the bars easily with a single disk.

My Husky 610 had a single disc, best brakes I've ever had, it did 100mph flat out, weighed about 140kg wet and had half the front brakes of a 996.
