Just pour petrol on it and set fire to it, that’s gopping!
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."
I'm not blown away by the look of it but at least it looks like it would function as a motorbike so its a vast improvement over almost every cafe racer Ive ever seen.
The tail unit looks fine to me but that does introduce a problem, the speedblock paintjob.
I usually love tge speedblocks but as they go along the tank then onto the tail I don't think it quite works.
Oh and the gold swingarm looks like an offcut from a cheap six foot spirit level. I see its off an FZ600?
But its got an airbox, mudguard and tail unit so my only objections are cosmetic so its ok in my book.
At a glance it doesn't look too bad... then I spot the missing side panels, the speed block colour scheme that doesn't work with what appears to be an R6 seat unit, that horrible headlight, the weird instrument binnacle...
At least it has a battery... some of the stripped down bikes don't seem to have room for one anywhere!

Thing is, the change in tail unit usually means the sidepanels won't fit anymore.
I usually mention the lack of sidepanels but in this case I reckon the nicer tail just trumps the lack of sidepanels.
The spoked wheels likely don't weigh much more than the original wheels. Can't say I've ever picked Powervalve wheels up but the spiral ones on LCs and XJ 550s were bloody heavy lumps.
Not surprising Astralites sold so well for a while.

I'd be surprised if the spoked wheels aren't lighter than YPVS wheels, having taken the wheels out of my YPVS on Sunday I know how heavy they are.
Brembo TZR125R wheels are the ones to have. Well, they used to be but I think the YPM lads snatched them all up and now they're not common or cheap. I think if I was doing it again I'd use modern 125 wheels from any of the Jap bikes, they seem to be decent sizes and I bet there are plenty in breakers, spacers are easy to knock up.
I think people are using YZF125 wheels, but I bet YBR125 wheels are wider and lighter than LC or YPVS wheels, mine will be staying on it's skinny 18" wheels as I liked standard YPVS handling, I found the brakes good enough for the performance as well.

Do they have drilled holes to attach 2 disks ?
If you mean the 125 wheels, I've no idea, the YPVS front wheel has two discs.

Yes, I remember that. The idea of using a 125 wheel instead is a bit confusing.

But do they have mountings for 2 disks ?
Suzuki used to run the same fronts on GSXR 750s with twin discs and (IIRC anyway) GS 500s with one disc and a blanking cone shaped part.
Think the early LCs only had a single disc? But the same wheels as my XJ550 which had two (fairly crap) front discs.

250s were single disc, 350 double discs.
One season I raced both and had to swap brain over between races. Luckily the 250 was a fair bit slower.
