Yep, with some sections from Ginger Hall to Ramsey it’s just a case of steering damper on maximum and not trying too hard with the bars....more a case of guiding the bike than steering it !!

Thinking about it - Kings lynn to Fakenham ( in about 1982) as well -

You could then do Fakenham to Thetford and then back to Kings Lynn via Brandon

i'd go back via the Creakes - Stanhoe and Flitcham ...
last time i did Swaffham to Fakenham must be about 20 yrs ago on my dodgy old GPZ 600r that i never got on with - rainy shiny road didn't make for an enjoyable morning

The back road from Stowmarket to Needham Market circa 1990 before it was ruined with a new housing estate, up the A140 to Stonham Tap, turn left into the A1120, past the Sushi factory, through Stowupland and down the hill into Stowmarket.

I am fairly sure I have ridden that a few times when we used to do the ride outs from the Comfort cafe or Barton Mills

I’d like the TT to myself for a bit

Do what we did and go in November, it’s deserted and the mountain section is empty during the day. Even the Police waved us past at 3 figure speeds

When we're at the moneypit in France, this is my go-to route. Fabulous, beautifully surfaced roads and some fairly epic scenery if you've got time to admire it.

If you went out with Darren from MCT I'd be surprised if you didn't do some of it, the whole A1120 from Stowmarket to Yoxford is pretty good, and from Yoxford down to Sizewell is very good, but there are a lot more 30 limits on it now than there were 25 years ago, and the surface isn't as good as it was.

My normal jaunt is out on one of the Essex peninsulas as shown below. Sometimes I'll go further north but its rare these days?

Similar to one of my routes but i would suggest: from Great Baddow (A12 roundabout) up- to Borham on the backroad to Hatfield Pevrel and dropp down to Maldon that way. Nice series of bends just out of Hat.Pev.

From Bradwell drop down to Tilliingham - Dengie -Burnham
At SWF turn right at the BP garage towards East Hanningfield. Turn left at the T junctiongets you on the route to the Turnpike

Sometimes do it on one bike and then go out on another for a contrast. just have to remembernot to twist the throttle as hard on the Tuono as I would on the Le Mans.
Also got a longer route up to Southwold or Hunstanton if I want to be out longer
