Re: What have you done today thread?
Slept really late. Got up at 7.50am. Went and did the supply run at the local Lidl. No queues and quiet inside. Bought stocks for the next week or so and now we just need bread/milk as and when it is required. Bright, sunny and very pleasant, so the wife can do the garden with the compost I've bought...

Pulled the supporting canes out of the hedging that I had forgotten were there. Unfortunately there’s a lot of hawthorn, so I now look like I’ve gone a few rounds with a very angry cat! That’ll sting in the shower later.

As per yesterday - ride to station, train to Norwich, few hours in office and back home again.

VE75 street party. Albeit social distancing was maintained. We invited a neighbour (widowed just over a year ago) around to share our front garden and had three other lots of neighbours join in, table and chairs on the pavement. . Other groups at houses along the road..
Tea @4pm, meal @6pm
For tea, read coffee. For meal, Mexican veggie burgers .. washed down with a bottle of dry white. I avoided the singalong at 9pm. We finally cleared up @ 10pm.

Tedious isn’t it? I seem to fall foul of people and I really can’t see what I write that’s so bad!! It’s carrying on again now. Sad and getting extremely boring......

There's always been a nasty black table on the bedroom balcony. I was sanding some metal bars and when I'd finished I quickly attacked the table. Wow. Nice wood appeared.
So after 2 hours with the trusty Makita orbital sander, we have a happy missus and a nice table

28 mile pedal with my lady and the ebike and all back lanes. She's still loving it. Sandwiches in a gateway with a view. Bit cloudy but ok enough.

Re: What have you done today thread?
went to Leeds today waved at my mum and drove back in the Alpina was doing just over 70 and was overtaken by a chap in an M5 who was doing at least double my speed, conservatively in excess of 140Mph he can play on his own and deserves to be locked up. there was plenty of tarffic on the A19 who wouldn't have a scooby he was closing at that kind of velocity Once upon a time Id have at least paced him but saved myself half a tank of fuel by not doing.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I went food shopping on the bike today, didn't manage to get everything on the list, but it was a good day as I ended up buying this while I was out
Low mileage, freshly serviced and has obviously been pampered- I've kicked its tyres and sat on it ( Love the big wide bars ) fiddled with the buttons, revved it up, and made brmm brmm noises, but that's as far as my MutiStrada experience goes so far. Am picking it up Wednesday, so more info to come then.
I've already ordered a smaller sportier-looking screen, the ( mandatory for my road bikes) black-backed 8x6, chances are there might be one or two carbon fibre whatnots purchased over the next few days too.
As old-man tourer bikes go, I think MTSs are lookers, roll on Wednesday!
