Re: What have you done today thread?
Rode into work (essential travel innit). Got to work 7am after battling quite heavy London traffic into Southwark and then into City of London over Tower Bridge. Nice weather though. Work is very busy, setting up signs and checking systems for the office reopening end of May. I've watered the plants, tested all the facilities systems and basically got things ready to go. Back again next week to continue. Going to have a Zoom meeting at noon and then I will hopefully ride home for lunch as all the places around here are closed!

Got my knitting bag out, picked up some needles and a bit of old wool and proved to myself that I could at least remember how to cast on without having to look anything up on the internet. Well it’s a start!
Life’s for living, so let’s get on with it!

Thought I come and see what was happening over here. I'm totally fed up with the constant bickering on the other place.

Worked half my hours, went out on the bike for a quick spin, 3 hours later am home and working the rest of my hours. Swedish companies are great for flex working especially when the sun is out and its a nice day. Had lunch by the lake at Vista Kulle

Re: What have you done today thread?
Took 4 days annual leave after the last few weeks with work and HR I've needed a rest, so work phone off and I've helped out with the home schooling, worked through a long list of outstanding DIY and gardening jobs etc. Today though, I took the bike out for its MOT, spent an hour there chatting with Graham, long way home in the sunshine, gave it a good wash and polish (a half-weeksy as I like to call it). I've then watered the veg and declared it beer o'clock.

Well I had to go to Collect Meds for Mrs GP who's got MS and gets drugs sent to a specific chemist 10 miles from us.
This I reckon was an essential journey so the Ducati Monster was ridden for the first time since before lockdown.
As per Mr Badger, a very circuitous route on the way home and now enjoying beer number one!

Had to go to the office today, so up and on the train to Norwich. Half day there, home for a 1.5hr conference call and then a blast on the Peloton bike.
Cut and paste for tomorrow by sounds of it too!

I think people are starting to care less. Which is fucking insanity to me. Admittedly I was out for 1:45 today but I saw 3 people on my ride

Re: What have you done today thread?
Slept really late. Got up at 7.50am. Went and did the supply run at the local Lidl. No queues and quiet inside. Bought stocks for the next week or so and now we just need bread/milk as and when it is required. Bright, sunny and very pleasant, so the wife can do the garden with the compost I've bought...
