The tapping that I thought was the cam chain is actually the shims. The rattling spanners sound that's happened twice is the cam chain tensioner. It's booked in for its 24k service next month and will all be sorted then. They couldn't let me joy ride a Trident because no one has any yet  I knew that.
It warranty clam Friday. First a new laptop and now a new clutch.

I had the original clutch replaced as a recall but there was nothing wrong with it

I'll be returning the loan bike to the Triumph dealer and picking up my bike.

I didn't get a good look at it when I picked it up as it was dark, but I saw it in the daylight yesterday. 2020 Street Triple R, it could do with some lube.

Trying to tick things off my list and also do something that makes me happy, so I'm baking. Cheese and pickle sausage rolls about to be made. Pastry for Bakewell Slices just chilling (it's an almond pastry, proper tasty but very light and not the easiest to handle)

Also watching my celebrity crush cooking tv!!

But, outside we have orange skies :o :o :o Apparently this is Saharan sand visiting. I'm fully expecting floods next as it's still too bloody warm up here for snow so I figure the universe is about to dump sand on us in preparation for floods so we can convert from a ski resort to a beach resort :o

If it's any consolation most of the UK is forecast for a big drop in temperature and loads of snow tomorrow, if we get too much we'll send some over to the EU. ;)
Apart from that the weather front may be headed your way.

Sunny and bright day today, so I started giving my garden its annual haircut while Baby D ran around outside like a whippet.

I operate a system of enhanced natural selection in my garden; Everything gets brutally hacked down to basically stumps in Spring and anything that survives gets to stay. I have to say, it works pretty well and it's lucious and green in Spring and brightly coloured in Summer :D

The front is gonna receive the same treatment next time the weather is half decent but I've filled up me green bin for now.

Found out the Lady over the road who died, had died from Covid! Apparently her husband and Son had it too, but she'd previously had throat cancer and struggled with breathing anyway! Bit close to home that!

A friend died a couple of weeks ago, she had a stroke but had tested positive for covid a week previously. The death cert will say covid but she died with it not from it. She was 57 btw.

Sweet FA really, put some gammon in to boil ready to bake in a bit...

Yet again I managed to pulled a muscle in my back yesterday, so won’t be doing much either.
