Will look again in a couple of months if i get back to work in any form and it also depends what the Portimao situation is :wtf:

Cheers weeksy, the thought is appreciated but for the first time in my adult life i am not skint and many people are in a far worse position than i am. I just cant justify the expense at the moment as the instructing thing is what allows me to put money to things for just me rather than the normal costs of living etc but thanks for the consideration

I'd love to come, but.
My leathers have shrunk.
I've forgotten how to ride.
My back only let's me ride for about 30 mins at a time.
Oh, and also, I don't have a bike.
Where do I sign? I'm sure I can get hold of something. Will they allow anything in the novice group?

1. Eat less
2. We're all rubbish
3. 20 minute sessions
4. You sign right here mate
5. Anything ? They'll let most things out, we always take quite inappropriate bikes.

How about I get one of these in prep for Pembrey, available on Amazon. Moto Trainer simulator Euro12,900. I wouldn't mind a go on one though.

I'm tempted but the last two track days I did 20 years ago (fook that's a LONG TIME) didn't end to well, so I need to work on Mrs M and my head as well as start a "fund".
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Ours never end well, but that's because it's 1am and we're drunk! But the track stuff goes great!

I guess with recent announcements on travel, this should now be coming more to the front of peoples minds.

We'll likely pick another day with Alan and PBTD as well.

I'll probably aim to pop along but I don't know if I'll be riding. The SV650 will be sold (anyone want to buy it? Going cheap...) and I'm taking the Blade to the Classic TT the following week.

You know the rules by now... if you're turning up even without a bike, you'd better bring some leathers and some money for Alan. You'll be sent out on something for sure.

Never done Pembrey, never done a track day on the Duke 690. I'm probably at least two stone too large for my leathers and it's been over 15 years since I did more than a couple of laps of a race track, so I suppose I'd better say yes...

Yeah, remember reading about your exploits on the KTM forum. I'm guessing Pembrey is about as suitable a track for a 690 as you're likely to find?
