What's best.???
As a kid until now, just used 3 in 1 or similar general maintenance oil. But now with two new bikes in the family, starting to wonder if I should be using something a bit more specific. General road/lane use, so bikes don't get too dirty.

Re: Bicycle chain lube
Me, i just go with GT-85 which gets plenty of frowns from many cyclists... but not all.
Funnily though i use the same on motorbikes too... which gets the same levels of frown.
Putoline wax is supposedly the king of lube if doing it like some say...
I can't see any reason a decent motorbike lube wouldn't work well though, i have Wurth Dry lube i use at times, can't see why it wouldn't do a decent job on a bicycle.

Re: Bicycle chain lube
TBH, they are much of a muchness ...
Make sure the chain is lube - and also make sure you clean it regularly
I wouldn't just use GT-85 - but that approach hasn't killed Weeksy yet, so we can assume it works.

Re: Bicycle chain lube
I use weldtite TF2 wax, doesn't clog up the cassette like oil based lubes
