Recommend me some bars
Having bought some carbon bars - and found out he are 31.5mm, i would like to buy some 35mm bars with a 35mm /40 mm rise. 780 mm width
For an e-bike - so alloy.
Any recommendations?

Re: Recommend me some bars
Generally Burgtec or DMR really. I guess Renthal as well or one up as well.
Depends on things like backsweep as well.
I run the standard Bontrager which are 28mm rise

Re: Recommend me some bars
Not used em myself, but everyone is raving about OneUp bars right now... Personally I stay away from 35mm bar clamp stuff, it's unnecessarily stiff (and way larger than the clamp on a motorbike for instance!), but if you don't have any choice for whatever reason, I'm reliably informed that the OneUp bars are the most comfortable 35mm clamp bars because of the unique way that they are profiled at the bends... Alloy or Carbon...

Re: Recommend me some bars
TBH, I am not a fan of 35mm but it is what is on the Trek Rail. The other option is a) to change the knockbock stem b) fit a shim ....mboy wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 11:36 pm Not used em myself, but everyone is raving about OneUp bars right now... I've got a pair of these on the Curtis, it did have a Ti flat bar before (RUST components I think). I like them, though still not convinced they're any better than the RUST bars but I can't be bothered with the faff of swapping back.
