Yeah me too. I've now got it wired in that way, but obviously the forwards/backwards are reversed. There seems to be a few RC geeks on PB and Singletrackworld, i've also pinged the seller a message as i'm sure he's had every question possible at least 3000 times..

Can you turn the control lever on the handheld radio control box through 180 degrees?

How about reversing the connections on the controller on the inside of the box?

No, that's slotted on the unit, so the cabling can only fit one way.

Sorry I meant the connections on the joystick. Or turning the joystick through 180 degrees.

WTF I didn't think of using the word before is attributable to my stupidity

Image

description says
• servo reverse for both channels (reversal of the running direction)

Which implies i can change direction for motor as well as steering servo.

SORTED !!

a) “REV” setting (reverse direction of servo rotation) Press the “CH” button and choose between ST, TH or 3C and 4C. Press +/- for normal or reverse.

So, using the CH button, the first click is for ST (steering), click it again and you get TH (throttle), then + to set to 'rev' for reverse throttle..... which is now forwards at full power.

You expect decals to stick once the shell is covered with dirt filled scratches?

1. It's not dirty.... IT's on the table.
2. You think my lad cares if there are decals on it ? LOL.

My longer term plan is to get a new body and paint it anyway :)

I had the same issue 30-odd years ago with my forward/reverse.

To skid and do 180's you go forward flat out, then turn the car in any direction whilst putting it into full reverse at the exact same time - it gets better at this when you've worn the knobbles off the tyres.
To do wheelies you have to have it on grass and put it in full reverse, then slam it into full forward, the front should pick up and it'll wheelie.

Now you need a 540 motor.

My wallet needs a day or 3 off... It's had a tough few days with this and the MTB helmet...

Happily, my boy isn't aware of the upgrades, so we don't need to worry :)
