I've been looking for it online for ages...fascinating lateral thinking.

Plywood is a great material. Conceptually its not too far removed from Carbon Fibre. Plywood >> simple blocks of wood.

They took the fairing off another bike and stuck it on this after a long lunch drinking sesh.

I reckon its the worst looking Bimota. a simple DB2 would do me, although the back end looks heavy from that angle. IRL they are lovely.

After all that you're still left with a CB250/360. They were crap back in 1974 and the years won't have improved them, they will still be overweight, underpowered, underbraked and undersprung. Not sure about the home made monoshock either.

It does look quite pretty though..

A mate bought a brand new G5 back in the early 70s. Oh how we laughed.

My old T250 Hustler was practically done and it was still faster and better in every way apart from mpg and what 17 year old gives a stuff about that?

Right from new it was a dose,always breaking down and eating cam chain tensioners for the craic. I never thought I'd see the day that bike would be used for anything other than a boat anchor. I mean,could your heart lie to restoring one?

I have to admit it doesn't look bad,in a mini 650 Yam fashion,but I wouldn't want it if it was gold plated. Sixteen hundred quid?

I've sat in the pilots seat of a plane made of plywood and balsa, it did 400mph and later versions carried a 4000on bomb load, the one I sat in was the prototype.

Yup, I worked at a Honda dealer workshop whilst at school and college from mid 70s to early 80s, and saw a lot of G5s, and and there is nothing I can think of to commend one of them, they were indeed a complete pile of cack in just about every way. The CJs fixed the engine issues, and looked a bit better IMO, but the 250s particularly were still seriously heavy and just dull compared to the 250RS single , let alone the RDs, GTs and KHs - the K4s that preceded them were better
On that particular example, I like the shade of green that it's been painted, but that's it

It looks like it's still got the gearbox (or something) attached, which makes it extra wide, I wonder if there's another hidden wheel?

Agreed, DB2 is lovely , and none of the Suzuki or Kawasaki Bimotas are really great lookers IMO, and some (the early ones- SB2 and KB3 spring to mind ) are properly hideous

Putting the V-Due aside (I would still love an Evo) , It would be either a DB2, or , probably more likely , a DB7 for me, both gorgeous

'Sensible' choice would be a DB6.
