It looks like it's still got the gearbox (or something) attached, which makes it extra wide, I wonder if there's another hidden wheel?

Agreed, DB2 is lovely , and none of the Suzuki or Kawasaki Bimotas are really great lookers IMO, and some (the early ones- SB2 and KB3 spring to mind ) are properly hideousG.P wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 10:43 amI reckon its the worst looking Bimota. a simple DB2 would do me, although the back end looks heavy from that angle. IRL they are lovely.Yorick wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 11:10 pmThey took the fairing off another bike and stuck it on this after a long lunch drinking sesh.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 10:53 pm That's my dream bike, in fact I posted it on another thread.
You obviously have no taste :p
Putting the V-Due aside (I would still love an Evo) , It would be either a DB2, or , probably more likely , a DB7 for me, both gorgeous

Would deffo be a Tesi for me as first pick, but they're mad mad expensive.
'Sensible' choice would be a DB6.

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
Its worth a bomb in parts though. The TT2 frames are £1600 for a fresh replica. The tank is probably fibre glass, Ally versions are aroun £600 if you can find one. Those wheels look like 17" Astralites and a Decent DS100 Aircooled motor is around a grand. The swing arm is std 900ss so worht very little front end can be binned, the seat unit is shite too

I thought this looked nice, it's got a 1320cc JAP motor.

That will be a chain drive or reduction set up, no third wheel.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 7:36 pm It looks like it's still got the gearbox (or something) attached, which makes it extra wide, I wonder if there's another hidden wheel?

I like the mirrors with integrated displays.
Also quite a bit of clever/different thinking.

I can remember posting on Vd or early TRC a Japanese styling exercise electric bike, which was FF style. So FFE, low battery pack & seating, good aerodynamics, etc.

Well that particular bike might be a bit "out there"...however electric bikes will allow greater freedom of design and packaging so I can see things incrementally moving away from conventional looks.
Honestly....if I were alot wealthier and in a position to buy bikes on a whim I would probably buy one. But them I'm a filthy pervert who likes side mount radiators and funny front ends.

Saxon Triumph 1000

There's some English if you scroll past all the Italian.
From the early to mid 90's and raced at the IoM, but I don't remember seeing it before.
