I don't know, and I assume you give it back.

For me it's ludicrous to offer a commercial vehicle with such a tiny milage allowance. To me it screams of "sell it cheap, and then have them over when they bring it back"

Would you believe it, i've just had another email to tell me the parcel has been delivered to the mailbox

To me this suggests that posty left the last parcel on the floor and someone nicked it !

I'm confused, do you have it or not?

I've had parcels 'delivered' only to find nothing there. When I complain I'm told to check with my neighbours (which I didn't do). And the next day the parcel is delivered. Clearly the postie decided to knock off early but didn't want the bosses to know, so marked it as delivered.

First package- 17th Nov, they said delivered to my (or someone elses) postbox, But I never got it
second package- Delivered yesterday, once again the email said it had been put in the postbox. It hadn't it was left on the floor next to the post box. So i did get that one.
After filling out a second online complaint form I was pliantly surprised to have a call from the local post office, who took on board everything I said about it not being put in the post box. She then told me that there is a new person on my round as the regular guy is on holiday. They will speak to the new guy/ girl and in the meantime have emailed me the 'paperwork' to send to my seller so I get a refund and he claims off them !

The latest (and final) update.

I emailed Amazon to see how I should go about forwarding the paperwork from La Poste so I don't get charged.

They replied, full of apologies, assured me that I wouldn't be charged AND credited £10 to my account

Possibly, but why would I need to? I don't watch live/steaming TV.

The BBC is going down the pan and they need to be smart to save themselves, not spy on everyone or keep sending people threatening letters. These letters tell me in a bold, red font that they may take me to court and I may be fined even though I have complied with them. It feels like harassment.

I had a blood test on Monday. Tuesday morning I received three text messages about the resukts from the GP surgery:
1. Please make an appointment within the next two weeks.
2. Please book an appointment as soon as possible.
3. Please book an appointment as soon as possible.

So I called the surgery, listened to the 45 second recorded message telling me I really should use the app to book an appointment and they'd get back to me within 5 working days. Thank God I'm not sick, by the time I get an appointment I'll have recovered or died. Then listened to a slightly different 45 second message telling me the same thing. Then hold music for 10 minutes, interrupted regularly to tell me I should use the app before the receptionist answered the phone.

Me: I got text messages asking me to book an appointment... blah, blah, blah.
Receptionist: I can book you an appointment on 27th January
Me: (Thinks) The texts implied it was urgent. What happened to "as soon as possible"? (Out loud) I'll be out of the country by then.
Receptionist: Can you do 30th December.

So that's my "urgent" doctor's appointment. In four weeks time.

Last week we found out that when the new NHS app went live allowing patients to see all their info it blocked hospitals from seeing records from other hospitals.
If you are under the care of a specialist consultant and waiting for complex surgery don't get sick and go to a different A&E unless you have all your scans and consultant notes with you.

Doctor surgeries are a joke. Ever since covid its like they dont like working. We now have to tell the receptionist why we want to see a doctor. WTF has it got to do with you. When i had to go last year i told her i had blood dribbling out my arse. "Oh, can you come in on Wednesday morning" Only had an issue with a dislocated finger

We have a Pull n Bear over here so looked on the UK website for ideas. I instantly got upset but took me a while to realise why. Then it clicked

All the kids in this page look like drug dealers, wannabe gangsters or just plain thugs. And they're all wearing the sort of clothes that that these sort of folk wear..
And the folk in charge reckon the folk of today will be impressed by all this hard-man image.
