Had a short 50 miles out this morning to pick up a second inner bag for the tail pack, thought it might come in handy to have two separate compartments.
The comfort seat is ace - I'm very happy with it.
Everything I'd read on the internet said that it would be "pointless / no better than the standard seat / really uncomfortable etc.". I'm glad I took a chance as it has way more support & I'm confident it'll make a difference on long days.
I can only assume most people on the internet think a 'comfort' seat is meant to be all soft, squishy and, well, comfortable. And they're all wrong.

Just fiddling around with the dash whilst getting a few more miles on it and came across this - quite neat!
The dash navigation's ok, but I'll likely not use it, I'm quite happy with just the audio directions. I look at maps as a last resort.

Heard that additional fobs are in the hundreds of pounds range, and depend on what the dealer charges you to pair it to the bike, soooo....
£14.40 inc. delivery for a fob from Aliexpress & the pairing process is in the workshop service manual. I ordered one a couple of days before going away & it arrived within a week. Took me five minutes to pair it to the bike. Yay!
Hard to tell the difference from the original one if it wasn't for a few weeks worth of wear.

Bit dull but I have just realised that its tyres - Bridgestone S23s - are actually wearing better than I thought they might. They're on just over 4,000 miles, the vast majority non-motorway admittedly but they both look like they've plenty of life in them yet.
