Burnished the stainless Cat shield with a red fiber disc on an angle grinder... I may need an intervention.

Did more detailing under the truck. Trimmed a skosh off both ends of the tail-gate seat, finished with a 3/8 round-over bit in the router & then applied spar-varnish.

This is an older *before* pic:

*After* looks just like it, but a bit narrower.

More fucking sanding....

Today I'm working on the left front part...I'm at #220 dry so far.

Middle & rear pieces are already (mostly) done to #800 wet (thank fuck). Right front still needs work.

If I win the lottery this weekend.......
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

The best thing about that auction is the fact you're allowed to make comments at the bottom :D

People bidding it up & there's still 4 days to go, I see the seller took care of the rust underneath it.

Spends loads building and fitting a modded engine, leaves the 3 speed gearbox in place :hmmm:

E4OD fits the 460, would just need to sort out the electrical side of things... in fact he could have fitted a later 460 with fuel injection (& a serpentine belt for ancillaries). Plus it looks like he rattle-canned the frame without doing any prep. It's a real mess underneath.

Build quality is so high you have to maintain it even before it's been used

A 7.3l pick-up is 'light duty'?

(I thought they were 'super duty'?).
