Did some cloud seeding today. Rain tomorrow. Sorry.

Ooh...moody black & white. Nice.

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Out this morning with the eldest stepson on his 636 for about 2 and a half hours. His riding has improved a lot in the months since I last rode with him and first time I have used rider to rider intercoms with him (at his request) to improve his positioning.
Still stopped at the place we used to take him and his brother to for ice cream when he was 12 ….. he’s 30 in a few weeks

I've been dog rough with covid for the last month, but I'm getting over it now,so today the SV650 got dusted off &taken for a spin
Nice day for it,if the weather stays good I'll go for a ride to the Trough of Bowland one day next week

A lovely ride across the peaks today to my brother's place near Bakewell.
120 miles or so there and back makes it the longest bike ride I've managed this year so far! Roads and weather were great, sunny but not too warm and very little traffic.

Met my brother for a morning trip to the US military cemetery in Cambridge. Sobering but a peaceful, pretty place for them to rest.
After that we headed to Old Warden and the Cafe for the Shuttleworth collection. Some nice metal on display.
Someone took a picture of these shitboxes
Got chatting to the owner of this RE, he's owned it for 48 years! Bought it at 17 as a field bike and had it ever since. Refurbished it 11 years ago. Apparently the Hammerite it'd been painted with had preserved everything perfectly.

A canal based day today, coffee and breakfast roll at a canal marina in Cropredy Oxfordshire, and a photo op on the tow path near Radford locks in Warwickshire on the way home.

An afternoon run with the classic boyos to celebrate a local kids charity turning 15.

On the Vulcan?
It's got 2 roll top water proof panniers at the rear.

It looks as though it's right next to the tank. Partly obscuring top of engine casing. Optical illusion.

That's just a little molle pack that I keep the puncture kit and compressor in, it gets clipped to the top of my pannier

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Today- a thoroughly enjoyable 95 miles riding just about every lane in Hampshire with the full complement of Jolly boys- inc @crust
Particularly significant as it's 23 months since the crusty ones' last Jolly boys outing, and that was the one that snapped one of his femurs
It was great to have the old fecker back on that bike, and he's definitely lost none of what he had - today was tough , very (very) overgrown nearly everywhere with some very nasty ruts that were invisible until you hit them a lot of the time, I had more offs today than I've had YTD, but didn't seem to phase No 819!
