Works out about £15 a pint?
That's good for London prices. ;)

A half-decent beer works out to c. £2 a pint.

Some upgrades for my pressure washer...

Bare gun for the soapy foam doodad (which came with a full set of various nozzles)
Rotating spray tip (which also came with a full set of various nozzles)

So now I've gone from five nozzles to about 17 or 18...

As promised, a few pics of Spanish mountain scrub land. It's on terraces, all my stuff has been derelict for years and can't be brought back into production. Every bit of land around me has a protection order on it, it can either be farmed or left but not built on, except the bit I've bought. It's got planning for a 200 square metre, 2 story house. I'll keep the planning consent current so when the time comes to sell up I'll get my money back, until then, no neighbours.

Looking east down the hill. The pic is taken from the edge of the plot, the brighter green trees in the distance are almonds and on the next plot.

Taken from the same spot as the pic above looking north.

Standing on the new plot looking south.

Terrace walls on the new plot. The wall to the left is around 2.5m high.

Terrace below the house with targets for my air rifle.

As KFB says, to keep stuff out. There's no shortage of boar wandering around at night, hunters with dogs a few weekends a year, people get lost and turn up, that sort of thing. Also, lots of people keep dogs and fences are the norm to keep them in.

I'm more than a little bit envious.

I'd have a shed built in no time for the tools and a concrete block and post for a permanent telescope mount.

I'd miss the sea being so close but hey ho, you can't have everything.

'New' bike for baby D. Its really obvious how much she's outgrown her old one when you put them side by side

These Frog bikes are really good I reckon. Proper little bikes rather than superhero/princess branded rubbish. We bought her red one brand new for ~£350 and its still almost like new 3 years later, hence why I went second hand for her next one. Only £150 this time and I reckon I can get that for the red one.

Because I'm a 13 year old boy, I bought a Switch OLED.

I've been playing Tears of the Kingdom non-stop since Sunday.

I've just downloaded the MegaDrive version of Sonic.

I might buy Animal Crossing.

I'm off to Corfu on Sunday, I might just sit in my hotel room playing on my Switch.

As I seem to have developed hay fever at a rather late stage in life :( + I like to sleep with windows open I bought a Shark air purifier for the bedroom a couple of weeks ago. A bit spendy but the HEPA filter is supposed to last for up to 5 years, whereas others say replace every 3 months (at £30 a pop). It has a little deodoriser cartridge in but you don't have to use it.

Well pleased. Very quiet and switches off if the air quality reaches 100 and stays there 5 mins. Keeps the air moving too.

Stuck it in the hall one day after cooking a meal that left a whiff of roast chicken around the house, turned the deodoriser dial up (it's quite a neutral, unscented one). Tada! Smell disappeared. Did the same today after a smoked fish meal (kedgeree) yesterday.

Happy bunny I am. :D

Giro Rumble bicycle shoes. I was just looking to replace my casual clipless shoes, thought they looked ok. Better than I thought - the sole's really stiff & they're very well ventilated - summer only! I might get two weeks use a year out of them...

Many years ago, I had a MacBook Pro laptop. My then 3 year old (now 18) surfed down the stairs on it and that was that.

Fast forward to yesterday and I've just purchased a MacBook Pro (16" Max3 32gb of ram) and it's bloody lovely. The sound alone is different class, but the screen is just so much easier on the eye. Lovely.
