If you mean the Mk3 RS Turbo a friend of mine had one, he was a printer, he's now head of IT for the UK office of a major shopping line. The RS1700T was more interesting, Ford made 400 1700T body shells before they had a finished car, because the car never made production Ford sold off the body shells, I knew someone who bought one and built a rally cross car with the shell.

There's another 'rare' sporty Ford from the 90's that no one remembers, but wasn't half bad.

They made 500 of them, only sold them in the UK, they lack steering lock and aren't a great deal quicker than the standard Puma, I had a standard Puma and went and had a look at an FRP but decided it wasn't worth the money they wanted for it. BTW the standard Puma is a fantastic car, probably the most fun car I've ever driven, also the most impractical

I was given a 1.6lx Sierra for free, MOT'd it and flogged it for £300 and was well pleased. Also bought an XR4x4i for £300 and drove it for a while before getting £600 and an XR2 for it.
Swapped a clapped out Sherpa and an FZ600 for an immaculate Mk2 Granada Ghia X.
Wish I still had them now......

Lot of people on the LDV and DAF groups would love a Sherpa. I had a Mk2 Escort what was a heap o shite. Orion Ghia what was a cracking motor but a yank tourist killed that. Had one of the last Ghia Cortina's what was a nice drive but the three speed auto box was shit on fuel. Lots of Mk3 fiestas what make great winter cars.
