Technological masterpiece, fastest car in the world, Le Mans success (but later DQd) ridiculous price tag, a proper 1990s long and low hyper car.
Completely gazumped by the even more impressive McLaren F1 which launched a few months later
The last road car (probably ever, now) to win Le Mans outright.

If you’re used to driving a big capacity NA petrol engine then any turbo engine feels rubbish, even the better ones like I had in my 911.
Maybe so, but if you want to win races, which Ford did, then you need a Turbo
