On one hand, it's a lot of bike for very little money, but...
If you've lost the V5, surely you just apply for a new one. It happened to me once. iirc it was £18 and a two week wait and that was 20 years ago, I assume it's even easier now.

I was more concerned that the front brake master cylinder reservoir cap appears to be held on with a jubilee clip.
