Took a bunch of pics of the damage to the car after being rear ended yesterday to see off to the insurance company. Suspect it will be written off as it needs a new tailgate and as it's an older, not hugely popular car they're like rocking horse 💩🤬

Put the triumph back together only to find I now have a starting issue, ran perfectly well before Christmas but 3 months sat in the shed it seems has need a new problem.

Turns over well but doesn't fire until I get a massive backfire. Suspect it's got fouled plugs but I can't face pulling the tank off now🙄

After seeing the size of them its no wonder they didn't set off the Fenn traps, but it does make me wonder how they manage to make so much sodding noise in the loft for their size
I thought you'd got a squirrel?

Had a mouse in the loft that would burrow under the insulation and gnaw through hazelnut shells directly on the ceiling over the bathroom. It sounded like it had a circular saw up there!

I did hear one that sounded like it was starting a small engineering works....found out it had got a limb trapped in a mousetrap and was dragging it around. :(

Has the shed of plenty replaced the loft of plenty,or do they run in tandem.

Inquiring minds need to know.
They run in tandem, but the loft is more rewarding. There are actually 2 sheds. Henry Cole is sniffing round in one of them at the moment…

Cleaned the bike, then went and did my usual 65 mile route. Now it needs cleaning again, got that a bit arse about face really.
Also worked out I need to lose an inch or so off my waist so the press stud doesn’t keep popping open!!

I gave up on press studs 5 years ago, too many random releases. Button plus belt is my minimum these days😎

Minor entertainment at Walmart...
Was walking back to the Ford with my cart & some bloke crashed his car into the cart corral.
Car stalled, bloke exited car pulling his drawers up.
Tried to pull the car back & dropped his drawers again
Pulled them up, got back in the car.
Car rolled forward with the door open & hit the corral railings which slammed the door shut.
Drove off.
Circled back into the next lane, pulled forward into the space next to the corral he'd just hit (twice)
Got out of the car pulling his drawers up as I drove past. Not sure WTF was going on as he was wearing several pairs of underoos (at least 4, all different colors).
Walked off towards the store & was last seen entering the place & pulling his drawers up again.

Archery competition where I shot resounding :angry-cussingblack:

I can shoot fine at club nights but as soon as I enter a competition it goes all to hell.

It’s fun anyway but gets frustrating very quickly.

We used to have random visits from mice, and one infestation of rats, but it all stopped about 6 or 7 years ago.

Coincidentally, around that time we got a cat...

FiLs two year old High&dry Fanta Fe has conked out, on inspection something chewed though lots of cables.

He lives on a farm, so it's rats!

Turns out a lot of manufacturers use wires insulated with a soy based material rather than proper plastic and Roland loves the stuff.

Took the bike in for an MOT and service, took out a loan bike and went for a ride around the north coast. Bike was only a little RE 350, but that was enough on most of the roads.

Took some stuff to my storage unit, removed some stuff from my storage unit. Ended up with more room in the unit, there's now about 1.5sqft right inside the door where I can stand, before I had to take stuff out to get in there.

My alma mater, and where I met my wife - who grew up 20 miles from me in Norn Iron…

Nostalgia again.
