I did, working on site at the moment until I’ve got a van, then I’ll be out in the field. Consultancy contract at the moment so plenty work via an engineering company but I can source my own work obviously.

But in the end up the plan will be to take over the current engineering companies customer base when they retire, fingers crossed it all goes to plan.

Bugger all, the entire State is shut down owing to some rather persistent drizzle. They've announced "over 40 million Californians may have to evacuate".. which will be interesting because there aren't that many people in California. I guess they will import some Nevadans before telling them to evacuate.

It's been a bit more than drizzle down the hill & the daft buggers who live in the expensive areas are having a bad day. One house got swept off the foundation by a mudslide & ended up blocking the road... so the people further up that road (Beverley Glen) aren't going anywhere.

Today we got our selfs worked up in the hope we would get a 2nd michelin star. Then got let down.

Met another mate at lunchtime - she's here on holiday and he proposed on the first day here haven't seen her for about 5 or 6 years so wass great to catch up (and meet the fiance!)

Then home to chill for a bit.

Off to physio for a laugh and some pain!!

Well, I bought a box of frozen fish (going out of date stock, still good as frozen, but they had to discount it!).

I thought it was breaded fish.

It sort of is, but it's fish mixed with other stuff and formed into a fish type shape and then breaded.

So, fish like and some fish content. But it isn't a proper piece of fish

Haven't read it, apart from the recipes.

(But I do know a fair bit about Ernest Saunders, Ronson, Lyons and Parnes.....including the fact that the ECHR ruled that they'd been denied a fair trial. I think the City establishment thought Saunders was a 'tall poppy').

Today we have been on a mission from god
It's 92 miles from Hythe to Newhaven, it's dark we're wearing glasses, we have a full tank of gas, half a pack of satsumas and a 2.15 drive has taken 3.15.
As luck would have it we didn't have to queue (qu'elle surprise) at the port!

Was the ECHR rulling just that they incriminated themselves and there were other points were thrown out that were disregarded and no damages were paid out.
