It is La Plagne. I’m in Plagne Centre.

We did first lift out of Centre to head over to the Vanoise. But didn’t take it to go to Les Arcs. A mate caught up with us at the cafe by there and then we skied back to Bellecote but doing some new to me runs on the way :D - weirdly since it’s my 11th season!!!

Then we went over towards Champagny after lunch but had killed our legs 🤣🤣🤣

Might be over your way at end of month if the snow is poor in the Auvergne.

Looking at places in belle plagne for a midweek 3 nighter, so might want to pick your brains as to where's good next week

Learned a new (to me) medical term:

"Ballistic podiatry"

Used by Ron DeSantis to describe Nikki Haley's habit of shooting herself in the foot during political debates.

Usual shenanigans at work. First problem this year, first problem fixed. I hope it’s not like last year but I suspect there will be about 4378 other issues to go in 2024 😂

I don't know much up there, but a couple of good places in Bellecote - I tend to stick to Plagne Centre and occasionally go down to 1800! But I can find out :D

Today I had the longest lie in I can remember for ever!! Mainly cos I really wasn't very well :( Fairly sure I had a temperature overnight and most of today but finally starting to feel human (ish) again!

Was considering crying off work (a first for me here!) but then got sent a couple of transfers to do and realised they must already be short of staff, so I went in anyway! But at least I have a relatively easy day tomorrow :D

Would be nice to get a bit more sleep tonight, so crossing fingers :D :D

This morning I switched the telly on and spent a few minutes seeing what was on, nothing worth watching. That's my TV viewing done for the year.

I met up with an old band mate I haven't seen for a good while,we had a good natter and hogged a table for an hour over coffees. There's been a lot of water under the bridge for us both. A few of them are heading over to Spain on the bikes in the Springtime and I was formally invited, but I really can't be arsed at even the thought of a holiday,so I politely declined. A proper boring bastard I am,I don't even own an up to date passport!

Put the ZRX11 up on the Pitbull rear stand & then had to grab my inhaler. Issue is the front wheel is in the Baxley chock so the bike doesn't roll to make it easier to lift the rear.. & the fact that the Pitbull lifts the rear wheel about 5in off the ground.. & my health, so I had three things working against me. Now having a rest before actually working on the ZRX11. Bugger.

ZRX11 isn't even on the ride schedule until next month, but I've been putting stuff off since last month & I have the garage all to myself today.

Edit: discovered I'm one screw short on the shifter. M4x10 c/s.

13 hour transfer day, but, 3 of those were just sitting around waiting :(

Got home, quick snack (cos my mate didn't want to eat out as she had to eat up some of the food still in the apartment, she's leaving tomorrow!) - but we did go out to a bar. Two rum and lemonades later and I feel pissed!! Not sure if it's the lack of food or serious lack of practice (TBF, it was locals measures    )

Only got to go drinking cos I don't start till 3pm tomorrow, which is nice, but also don't finish till late :( But, should be back to 3 days a week off from this coming week :D

Only got to be out for about 9.30 tomorrow morning for coffee :) :)

Now gonna go hope to sleep, cos I do need sleep and I think I'm too pissed to do much else!!

7 hours sleep last night, which is about an hour over average, so full of vim and vigour;

Picked up a wheel from Kwik Fit after valve was replaced and tyre re-seated after the internal rim was cleaned, hoping that stops the 10psi a week leak, re-fitted same to my car.
Popped out and did the weekly shop on my tod, as per usual it took half the time it takes when accompanied by a responsible adult, aka the wife.
Chilled for an hour.
Took daughter out to buy a new (to her) car, another bloomin' Mini.
Had 2nd BBQ of the year.
Chilled watching Waterworld .
Chilling watching Lift.

Umm… why do you say that - is there an actual reason or are you just trying to spoil my day even more? 😩😩😩😳😁
