I think it would be nice to go alphabetical using names people don't use any more. Albert, Beryl, Claude, Donald, Eric etc.Rockburner wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 9:20 pmI was thinking of using Disney characters....mangocrazy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 8:57 pmPerhaps try something different, like heroes from Greek mythology...?Rockburner wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 6:32 pm I shadowfoamed most of the drawers in my main tool chest, but haven't yet named the drawers

With the addition of the Yukon box it puts me over 30 linear feet of wheeled toolboxes. If I were to shadowfoam the socketry, spanners, screwdrivers & pliers etc I'd need to swap out my 41in wide main mechanic box for one of this blokes 20 drawer 9footers.. or at east a 7footer:

Took this down:

Hung these two at the top:
And now have space to hang a new sign when it arrives in a day or three...

New sign showed up. A bit bigger than I expected, so I need to move the two lower signs in the previous post to make space for this:

Re: Garage stuff.
Half-assed the garage cabinet-top bookshelf together with the wrong screws (for now). It will be coming apart sanding/varnish etc, and filling two mis-drilled holes
Checked how many manuals I could get on it... (there's are MANY more, some of which I added since I took the pic).
Decided the space in front of the manuals is going to be the permanent home to my measuring tapes (I must have a dozen).
It will getting proper #8x 1.5in slotted brass c/s screws & finish washers. It will also be attached to the gun/ammo cabinet with some carriage bolts, 1 in each side, 2 along the front & 2 along the rear (maybe more). It overlaps the top of the cabinet by 1in
I REALLY miss not being able to use my table saw for this shit. It would have been so much nicer if I wasn't trying to cut plywood sheet with the wrong blade on a frigging circular saw with the ply resting on a couple of 2x4's laid on the floor. (yeah yeah, bad workman & his tools etc blah blah blah, bugger off)
There's also a full set of '73-'80 900/1000 factory manuals & parts books, a full set of KZ650 & KZ1300 parts books, '81-'85 factory GPz11 manuals & also some factory 650/750 manuals (GPz/KZ etc)... and a full set of '73-'80 900/1000 factory service bulletins etc

Re: Garage stuff.
Buggered about with the bookshelf, it's square now. Won't need the bolts to attach it to the cabinet as it's an interference fit.

Re: Garage stuff.
Looked for some drill bits. Looked in the same drawer for the THIRD time in two days & found them this time. FFS.
