Pup is 3 months this old now. Got a WhatsApp message with new photos...she's going to be a big girl and by the looks of those paws we're going to have lots of holes in the garden...🤣🤣🤣

More or less finished our Xmas shopping! :o Got to buy for the wife but we've got everyone else's preszzies! Loads of kids stuff is on sale, so my Great Nice and Nephew will be getting a lot more than we would get them normally, as the budget went a lot further due to sale prices!

Woke up to a freezing cold house, feared the worse that the controller was on the blink as the app said the boiler was running, thankfully turned out to be the thermostat batteries, so replaced them.

Chopped up some box steel to make a radiator stand (walls are 170 year old plaster and lath so won’t carry the weight and the studs don’t line up), my welding is shit even after being cleaned up with the grinder and the best welds will be hidden but you’ll have to be lying behind a sofa to see most of them, so fuck it.

This afternoon will be hanging the rad and levelling everything up. I might get around to starting to wire up the zoned heating controls but not before we view daughter 2’s new first house later this afternoon (it’ll be a home once they complete on the purchase and move in).

Wet,cold and windy on the morning walk.

I love it,because it keeps people away and I have the world to myself. 8-)

Smell and taste the salt from the choppy sea, hear and feel the thump of the waves as they shake the rock under my feet round through the caves. It gives one perspective when standing close to a power utterly indifferent to your existence. The sea doesn't fret or worry,it simply is.

I could have easily looked out at the 'terrible' morning and stayed indoors, but I'm glad I didn't.

Working from home frying my head studying the new(to us) electrical area we'll be taking on in the new year, not helped by up to date diagrams and older safety paperwork so occasionally things didn't tally between the two or were just plain wrong. Also not helped by the myriad of junctions and crossings the area is littered with (S London).

Had a great 3 hour enduro with the missus. She still hates sand but she's starting to understand it. Every ride has some sandy bits in so she needs to master it.
Then I binned her bike over a jump while 'checking it over'

Then amazing hot spicy chicken burgers at our fave seaside restaurant at Famara.

She was done by then so wanted to come home by road. So I came home on one of my favourite technical rides :)

Jumped straight in the pool when we got home. The water has dropped to 26c and a bit brrrr.

Now having a cold beer in the sun.

Life could be worse

It does look terrific and obviously you're a talented man.

But I'm from the north of England and if someone put that in front of me for my dinner I'd smack them in the mouth

If you get any norverners in just give them an additional side of mushy peas and all will be well...

The Ritz Hotel, yes it will be on sale, as in it’s going on the menu Friday.

Custard goes with everything

How is one supposed to eat that F400?

I'm never going to do so but I'm interested just like I'm interested when I get a knife and fork with a burger. :D

Egg on toast for brekky, lovely simple meal.
Now sat looking out of the window at the cows in the field, up to date with most of my work so feet up and relax.
