Re: What have you done today thread?
I've had quite a productive time at work today...
I've managed to piss three of those yellow urinal cube chunks down through the urinal grating.
It takes real strategy to choose which urinal has the ones used up and small enough and to keep at it through the day to it finally gets through.
Hand to eye to penis coordination at its best.
Due to the unique way the door schedule has been bodged together by Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles with help from Dunning-Kruger I've achieved fuckall else mind.

Baby D (5) is currently doing 'materials' at school. They've been looking at metal, glass, fabric and plastic. Teacher has asked them to find an example of one at home and bring it to school.

Normally have em for breakfast, like in Texas where everyone's a millionaire.

I've been scoffing seafood platters most weekends this year. In one place they serve smoked mackerel fillets as part of it. I han't eaten them in years and had forgotten how much I liked them. I now buy them in Tesco!Yorick wrote: Fri Sep 22, 2023 8:42 pm Just had kippers for tea. First time in donkey's year. They were farking awesome. Wrestling on the telly is much more difficult now, they are so much thinner than the old CRTs.

I bet they never had to smuggle cheap booze, they'd have been on the Party7's.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Bought the last bits and bobs for the child’s move out to university.
Filled in loads of forms for our house purchase- I was going to post in the bank account thread but both of us have to upload ID including inside leg measurement and favourite Beatle (or so it seems).
All worth it in the end when we move and we will have a garden and room for a shed

Early doors sea swim in 4-5ft surf. Nice with offshore breeze but lacking oomph.
Walked dogs on Widemouth beach and then shopping in Bude.
Cooked Tomahawk steak......mmmm.
Now drinking Gin and listening to the rising wind, tomorrows swim may well be a survival lesson.

That's how a touring bike ought to look, instead of those gopping GS style Starbucks barnacles.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Lots of sitting and doing very little so far. Chilled at home this morning mainly playing with my new settee and bacon rolls. started work at 1400 and done very little but catch up on here all afternoon and evening.
Better than this time last week when I spent the first half of the shift at an RTC involving a a Tesla needing the roof off. All done slowly and carefully as Fire hadnt done a Tesla before. Then straight onto the A14 for a fatal RTC that took me into the early hours.
All in all I like this Saturday night more than last Saturday night.
