I don't know what the specs are on paper but I see it as a significant step up from the Suzuki, I'd expect the Honda to feel a lot more premium and special, it certainly looks it.
I hope so, otherwise I've wasted £4K

I'm on a FB page and there's quite a few people that have gone from Blades (and other SBs) to these and certainly don't regret it. The newer one is quite a bit better than the older model apparently, and I'm impressed at my one. I reckon you'll love it!

If you loose the radiator plastic and the hoooge can,I think the stock looks better than those two above, especially in the white.

I agree, the radiator shrouds and the can make the bike look clumpy.

As I said, all I'd do (if I decided it was a keeper) is probably change the can.

There are loads of options, Honda did an official CB1000R 5Four and they put (IIRC) an SC Project pipe on that, so the parts and maps should be easily available.

I'll ride it for a while before I change anything, but if I change the can it'll have to be for something that isn't too loud.

Just looking at the differences between the plus (the one I'm getting) and the normal, the radiator grill on the plus model has an RRP of £678 and a note on the diagram saying "If the customer asks this is the correct price"

Also includes a smug feeling of superiority over people who bought the base model.

My bro had that model for two years from new, only recently swapped it for a gsxs1000. They’re a lovely bike 👍

I really should test ride one of these, it's one of the only bikes that really makes me tempted to part with money.
It's a massive shift from my normal choice of <500cc small light bikes, but they have something that stands out way ahead of anything else in that sort of range.

If I buy a bike then I want it there and then.
I had the Dragster flown in because I didn’t want to wait for a boat.
