I feel like that after being off on holiday for a couple of weeks. Takes a while to sharpen up your reactions again...

We had a 'gang' of peeps trying to steal my bike last night, I was in long, Tammy rang me, she was in bed and loud bangs outside, opened the ensuite with the light on, there were between 6-8 of them in masks.
I called the police who did a local check and came and saw Tammy was ok.
The lock held up so it's still here, new lock on it now, can't put it in the garage I'd have to move the car each time and I'd rather they took it than get into the garage

I've ordered a security WiFi light thing, it records and I can view it live and shout through it.

The zzr needs a new front wheel, it's not heavily damaged but it's bashed right at the bead and one sisc is bent, a bit of bodywork damage but not worth the insurance company getting

Cunts. That's not what you need any time.

The problem is that Richard won't even fit in the house let alone the bike, Richard is the one without the hat

It's back on two wheels
Currently sporting a zrx1200 front with zx12r discs
Fit's straight on, the rear is being a pain, different bolt pattern for the rear disc, it will have to wait
Felt very nice on a short test ride today, maybe one of the Harrison 6 pots needs a quick clean

The poxy rear wheel won't fit, different disc(which I bought) hugely different cushdrive set-up, I don't have the time or dosh to be messing around like that, so I'm looking for a plug and play version, seems some zx7/9's maybe but no concrete evidence on the net

Used to be a ZZR international forum but I think that’s gone now. It used to be a mine of information when I had my ZZR’s and wheel swapping was one of the topics I remember being discussed regularly.

From what I remember ZX9’s were the preferred choice.

Facebook may be your only option now.

FFS, was reading through this thread again & notice that I said I was gonna flip the eccentrics back in bloody February. Maybe I should get around to that. It's due an oil & filter change, plus I need to pop the clutch cover off & fit the Compton alt/starter chain tensioner mod doodad. I can do that while the oil is out of it.

Thanks, I'm a member of all of those, plus a few more, I'm thinking of looking up the cush drive rubbers part number and see what else they fit, then I should be able to get the correct sprocket carrier, the zrx12 wheel may still fit.

I know people fit ZX11 wheels to ZRX's so it should be doable.

I've removed the rear wheel from evilbay, I'm going to look at getting a sprocket carrier etc.
Mot up at the end of the month, so it's going to have to wait a bit

The MOT is up as of last Friday, so I thought I'd do some jobs on her and also this month I'm having to do a load of work on the family car(brakes, tyres and new Aircon condenser, hopefully fitting next week end)
So I've found the l/h frame spar has a dent, the tank lines up correctly,so I'm thinking it's a dent rather than a bend
So ... Do I reframe it? just use it as it is ? If I keep it I'm probably going to get a used 4 into 1 as the std exhaust weighs about 20lbs per side.
The brakes have never inspired confidence, even with the r1m master cylinder, I've used a few calculators online but I'm not sure £309+ is the way to go.

Dented frames are fairy common, how bad is it?
