They're rather dishonest with their naming. They're not pro-life, they're pro-birth, after they're born, fuck 'em.
Again, both sides as bad as each other because the
other "side", the left wing, who can't say what a woman is, refuse to put a timescale on abortion. They say it is ok to perform an abortion all the way up to full term. You know, a viable baby. An actual human being....
The problem is that (both sides) need to pander to the extreme views or they will become enemies amongst themselves. Trump dares not criticise the right wing, no democrat would argue that a man can't also be a woman if he wants to.
You can't really have any sort of sensible discussion, either you're with us or you're against us. It's all gone a bit Pete Tong.
Umm no, you can't have any sensible discussion due to a great deal of misinformation and hyperbole. You're stance that the left wing is not putting a timescale on abortion is along the same lines as the religious right being pro-life. You'll find that the vast majority of abortions take place well before the portion of the CNS that perceives pain is developed (24 weeks). That's right around the end of the second trimester (26 weeks). Being in place doesn't mean it's functional. Any abortions to follow commonly are due to fetal viability or risk to the mother (one study mentioned discovery late in pregnancy, either of fetal viability issues or health risks to the mother, access to a provider and facilities was a factor, or learning of the actual pregnancy - some women still menstruate during pregnancy and had no clue until third trimester) First trimester abortions account for 93% of all abortions performed in the US. 6% were between 14 and 20 weeks. 1% at 21 weeks or later. That last group still includes 2nd trimester numbers. Third trimester abortions are rare and expensive, quite often prohibitive to the average person seeking an abortion. However, putting a timescale on abortions has been tried and has been deemed unconstitutional as it closes the door on abortions due to health risks to the mother or pregnancies due to rape.
I'm not certain I understand your second to last paragraph:
The problem is that (both sides) need to pander to the extreme views or they will become enemies amongst themselves. Trump dares not criticise the right wing, no democrat would argue that a man can't also be a woman if he wants to.
Trump doesn't hold his tongue on any matter, even if it is self incriminating. He simply can't keep his pie hole shut. You clearly haven't been keeping up with his daily rantings.
As far as arguing that a man can't be a woman (or the converse), I personally don't give a flying fuck.
