With a trackday at Bedford Autodrome today, yesterday I fitted the new (to me) slightly later calipers and master cylinder yesterday, and I have to say, they performed absoloutely brilliantly today, so they are staying on.
The previous setup with the M1000RR MC is arguably probably as good, but these just seemed to have a little more feel- could be simply different pad material, but whatever I'm happy
One minor thing that I do like about this setup is the size of the resovoir, it's approx half the height of the usual ones, which contains plenty enough fluid and is just a bit neater IMO
As for my clocks mods, err, unfortunately not so good- all down to me and my hamfistedness with a soldering iron I fear- the revcounter display is massively better and now actually visible, in bright sunlight too, but unfortunately, we seem to have lost the shift light, and as of this afternoon, the fuel reserve light too, resulting in a very embarrassing and sweaty 10-minute push back to the pits, when I , umm, ran out of fuel halfway through a session..
I think I'll stick to fixing/improving the oily bits in the future, and leave fiddly little PCBs to the experts!

Hmm, haven't been great at updating this thread, but I guess that's largely in part to the green bike not having moved since Pembrey last year until a week or so ago.
Needless to say it fired straight up first push of the button without any optimate assistance since it was parked 6 months or more ago.
It had a cursory check over the important bits , a few squirts of Mr Sheen and I fitted the adaptor for the constand and we were good to go.
First TD of the year at Brands today, and it was faultless and that stand is just so good- I haven't bothered with tyre warmers for the last 10 years or so, but took them today and was glad I did as it was f. freezing first thing, warmed up when the sun came out at 930ish but I don't think ambient temp ever got above 8 or so degrees so the warmers got use.

I feel that have to say (again ) that stand really is so easy to use, and is so cool just being able to wheel the bike wherever you want it with practically no effort, I'm seriously considering buying another - definitely a very pleasing purchase for me
Anyway, it was a very quiet day there today, with a max of I reckon approx 15 in each group, and there some fun geezers in my garage too, which was really good as Tim my mate who I was going with cried off at 5am this morning as he'd been up shitting and puking all night
I and a bloke with a 929 next to me were having real fun swapping places multiple times a lap from about the 2nd session onwards , then it went a bit Pete Tong for him in session 4 when he high-sided coming out of Clearways, with me just a few feet from his back wheel at the time - Thankfully the force was with us both though today as I missed him and although he came down really hard he was fine thanks to his airbag, which after seeing it has made me seriously think about getting one, as I need new leathers really
His bike slid rather than rolled so it got away very lightly considering, but it and his lid was spannered though so was the end of his day.
Not sure what it is with 954/929 Blades at Brands when I'm there, as the last time I was there I had one explode and cover me in red hot oil just as we were about to shut off for Paddock- good job I'm not superstitious I guess- OH is very (she does this ridiculous tapping thing whenever she sees a magpie, and loads of other daft stuff too which I find incredible for such an intelligent and educated person ) so am very glad she wasn't there or I'd probably be banned from Brands from now on
Anyway, all's well that ends (very) well, it was a top day - I was umming and arring a bit about TDs before this and especially when I first got there as Billy-no-mates this morning, as they really as 70% or more about the social for me these days but it's has made me want to book another- Roll on Pembrey ( and probably one or two more inbetween)

He did well for the bike to slide at the Clearways exit as a lot hit the gravel there then dig in ........you can guess how that ends as i once picked up an Aprilia Mille out of the gravel and the headstock had snapped leaving the 2 ends of the bike connected by wires only.
I will admit i saw the thread update and wondered if you were flogging it for something else to scratch another itch

And RE flogging it, we'll see- it's a cracking little bike IMO, perfect for what I'm using it for, and as I know you know, a great fun road bike too for people without old-man backs and joints but yep, you're right I've been getting the itch lately and there is another one I have my eye on that's nipping away at me currently. If I do get that, then I'll put the original plastics etc back on this one and she'll be gone.
Am currently mulling it over and going to decide this weekend - we will see....
Oh, and of course, even if I decide not this weekend, there should also be a further option for buying one off couch in the next week or so (assuming he buys a bike in the next week or so )
