I purchased two rear discs for a 90's Vauxhall Carlton for £15 and set about with my grinder to cut the discs off.
A little cleaning up on my lathe and they fit perfect, even have the same bolt hole pattern, result.

Bit of a problem with the drum brakes as the drums are knackered. They are made of some sort of cheap iron casting with a thin liner which has worn through and blistered. So, after much searching on the internet, I discovered that some cars have the same size rear brake shoe [160mm] inside the rear disc set up for the hand brake.

Managed to paint the panels which allowed me to complete the build .A few snags to sort out the worst being the carburation
as it runs ok but won't tick over. Tried a new carb but runs worse so need to play with the jetting.

Is the carb anything exotic or are they (and the internals) easy to get hold of? Odd that both carbs were

I bought a brand new BVF copy of the Bay for £35 which looks ok but is not performing.
A Makuni conversion may be needed.
