What's the difference between the Superduke and the GT version?

Re: I bought a KTM
I've been out on a few rides around the Peak District with a mate who has one, and it just seems ridiculously capable at just about everything, be it back roads hustling, covering large distances with minimal fuss or pulling really impressive wheelies.

Apologies for the photo, but it is one of my favourites.
These bikes are great at everything, touring, trackdays, whatever. Nice riding position, sound ace, go ace. Enjoy.

Re: I bought a KTM
Having a mate with over 105k miles on his 1290 Adv the engine at least should be robust. He's not had any issues in fact and despite being ridden all year round cleans up real nice.

Re: I bought a KTM
You could of course substitute orange for green and KTM for Kawasaki and the point would be equally valid...

Excellent, it’s no GS, but excellent all the same.westers151 wrote: Sat Dec 03, 2022 10:20 pm Thanks Dodgy, and even after my sedate winter ride, I can feel what it's going to be like when it's dry.
For the first time, in quite a while, I'm actually excited about a bike - it has character, and makes me grin, (which is what it's all about), and I like the looks.
V-twins are great engines - loads of character compared to IL4s.
