Re: Hmmm.
The Husky has gone as well.
Bought it 1 year old. Had it 3 years and only lost 1200. That's cool in my book.
And my mate has hired it for his business about 10 times at 70 a go so I'm only down 500
I get a spanking new shiny bike with a few bob to spare

Re: Hmmm.
Did 100 Kms today. Suspension is harsh, but needs lots of bedding in apparently.
And was extra careful running the engine in.
Even toppled over on steep sandy climb coz was in too high gear. Need the engine screaming in sand.
It's not as good as the Husky, yet. But a good start. My pal knows about suspension so I'll follow his lead.
Nice to ride new stuff

Re: Hmmm.
Did 100 kms Tuesday and was quite underwhelmed. Suspension stiff and harsh and controls in wrong place.
Sorted the levers and dropped tyres from 20 psi to 12.
Like a different bike today. Suspension has settled in and quite comfy, but front still needs fine tuning as a bit vague and no grip.
Gonna be fun when sorted. Feels smaller and lighter than the Husky.

Re: Hmmm.
As I rode it more, it all seemed to bed in and settle down, except the front end. Just no grip and getting too many slides. And very vague feeling.
My pal with a Husky had a go yesterday and he agreed. Hmm, gonna have to bugger about with the suspension
Last night I asked on the KTM forum and 1 lad blamed the Maxxis tyres
Put a Michelin in today. Wowsers. Night and day, Like a new bike
So much grip and confidence. The front now just does what it's supposed to. Was hanging the back out at will and the front just behaved. Did a few tricky rocky climbs and descents and it was sublime.
It's now better out of the box, than my Husky was after throwing lots of time and money at it. I think this is more user friendly of the 3 versions.
Happy bunny !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Hmmm.
Wasn't all good news. Went through a flood tunnel under the road.
Need to go over a few rocks to get into it and as the bike felt so good, I attacked it. Bollox. Went askew and ended up scraping my new helmet and shirt along the tunnel wall
Was a bit scary
